What is POLi?
POLi is an online payment option that lets you pay directly from your bank account using your own internet banking.
When you choose POLi, you’re securely redirected to your bank to approve the payment — we never see or store your login details.
Is POLi safe to use?
Yes. POLi redirects you to your bank’s secure internet banking page to complete the payment. Your login details stay private between you and your bank.
How does POLi work?
- Select POLi at checkout
- Choose your bank from the list
- Log in to your internet banking as normal
- Approve the payment
- You’ll be redirected back to our site with a confirmation
Did my POLi payment go through?
If you saw a confirmation screen or received an order confirmation email from us, your payment was successful
If you’re unsure, you can also check your bank account for a completed transaction.
I was redirected to my bank but didn’t finish the payment — what happens?
If you didn’t approve the payment in your internet banking, the payment wasn’t completed and no money should be taken from your account.
My money has left my account but my order is still pending
POLi payments are usually confirmed straight away, but sometimes banks take a little longer to fully process transfers.
If your order is still showing as pending after a reasonable amount of time, please reach out to our Customer Care team and we’ll happily look into it for you.
How long do POLi payments take to process?
Most POLi payments are confirmed immediately. In some cases, it may take until the next business day for the payment to fully clear.
I accidentally closed my browser during payment — what should I do?
Check your bank account to see if the payment was completed.
- If no money was taken, you can safely place your order again
- If money was taken, please contact us so we can help
POLi isn’t working — what can I do?
If POLi isn’t working for you, try the steps below:
- Refresh the page and try again
- Make sure pop‑ups are enabled in your browser
- Try a different browser (such as Chrome or Safari)
- Try a different device (mobile or desktop)
- Check that your bank supports POLi payments
